The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Power and Signal Integrity (PI/SI) Design Engineer to join a small but growing Processor Design group, advancing the art of high performance CPU circuit design.In this role as a senior PI/SI design engineer, you will be in a design lead role responsible for performing system-level power and signal integrity analyses of various critical power domains and high-speed signal routes.

This role will provide opportunities to work across multiple teams across different geographies within Ampere to ensure a robust implementation of next generation systems.What You'll Do:Work with product engineers to develop system-level PI/SI specificationsDevelop methodologies to help simulate and validate system-level design implementation meets these specificationsReviews implementations and provide feedback to design teams to help improve overall designDevelop post-silicon test plans to help characterize and ensure spec complianceDevelop customer-facing specification and document, and take customers through the specs as requiredWork with other junior engineers to provide leadership and technical guidanceWhat You'll Bring:Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experienceExtensive expertise in PI/SI analyses methods with in-depth understanding of key concepts like time domain and frequency domain analysis etc.In-depth knowledge of power delivery network architectures and optimization techniques, high-speed signal routing techniquesFamiliarity with Server platforms/systems is a plusExperience with PowerSI, PowerDC and/or other equivalent industry standard toolsEducation:BS/MS/Ph.

D in EEPay and BenefitsAmpere offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus, stock, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $129,000 and $215,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $143,000 and $238,000.
