AMD together we advance_Senior Engineer - NPI Operations Primary Location: United States-California-San Jose Job DescriptionEvaluate and assist in the development of Xilinx internal product analysis tools through extensive data mining and data analytics. Responsibilities will include Quality Assurance testing and debugging of these tools as they go through revision enhancements. Work extensively with Product Engineering Group to understand their requirements to help develop tool functionalities that automate and enhance the quality of data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametrics to support initial product assessmentWork closely with Tools Development engineers to feedback binning, yield and parametric results to enhance various Tools' capabilities and functionsDevelop methodologies to automate analytical tasks using scripting languagesQualificationsBS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and experience in semiconductor industryExcellent problem solving and failure debug skills are requiredBasic understanding of product test methodology and implementation is a plusHands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tool and scripting languages such as Perl and Python are a plusAt AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.
