You will collaborate across Honeywell engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a coach and mentor to less experienced engineers. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineersYou will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products supporting new products from concept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost, yield, and schedule executionYou will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support current product value engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing processCoach development teams on and review product and process design related documents, such as DFMEAs, PMAPs, PFMEAs, MSAs and Control Plans throughout the IPDS processYOU MUST HAVE5+ years of engineering experienceBachelor's Degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science or similar field2+ years of experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processesDue to export control laws, must be a US Citizen WE VALUEBasic knowledge of the field's standards and specificationsExperience working in New Product Introduction (NPI)Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processesAbility to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audienceIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by eventsAbility to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisivenessDemonstrated experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Mathcad/Matlab/MiniTab, etc.
